Visual Art – Ottawa
Hi,
My name is Jacinda Gorman; I am a local Ottawa artist. My love for the arts started when
I was 5, observing my mother painting but my appreciation for it started when I was 15 and that
feeling pushed me to becoming the artist I am today.
I excelled in the study of art with a few awards in Secondary School and went on to
become a traveling certified graduate freelance makeup artist for 14 years, entering and winning
competitions throughout the years. In that time if I didn’t have a makeup brush in my hand, I had
a paint brush. Creating art in many forms has always been my emotional outlet; my way of
taking the raw emotions and energy and expressing art.
The time has come in my artistic journey where I am ready to share myself and
my pieces with the world. I am extremely proud of the artist I have become; but still learning
new techniques and growing as an artist every day. This opportunity to collaborate With Raw Artists is just the start!
